Eligibility Requirements
When HPHA selects names from the waiting list, the HPHA will re-verify all information pertaining the family such as, total family income; the number of persons in the family; preference claimed at time of initial application or from updated information and conduct a criminal background check. A family’s income may not exceed the income limits established by HUD, which is based upon family size. After the verification process is complete, HPHA will notify the family whether or not it meets the eligibility guidelines for assistance.
